• We have built the simulation environment for the software on the controller software, but since we are unable to simulate the hardware portion (Circuits, load, etc.), it is not very accurate

• Can develop software to simulate the hardware portion, and thereby improve the simulation accuracy
• Can further improve the accuracy by also developing software to simulate the I/O boards in the plant
